Overview

PPAI EXPO is the promotional industry’s largest and most competitive tradeshow, making visual impact and clarity critical. Orbus needed a booth that would stand out on a crowded show floor while clearly communicating their capabilities and expertise.

The objective was to create a bold, eye-catching environment that would attract attendees from a distance and quickly convey who Orbus is and what they do.

My Role

As Lead Designer, I was responsible for defining the overall visual direction of the booth. While the exhibit designers engineered and custom-designed the physical structure, I brought the space to life through color, imagery, and bold typography.

I designed:

  • The full SEG fabric graphic panels for the booth structure

  • Visual messaging and hierarchy across all sides of the booth

  • Graphics for the products displayed within the space

I worked closely with exhibit designers, the tradeshow & event manager, and the VP of Marketing to align the creative vision with business and experiential goals.

Approach

Designed with distance visibility in mind to stand out on a large show floor

  • Used bold typography and high-contrast color to communicate capabilities quickly

  • Leveraged strong imagery to reinforce Orbus’ scale and expertise

  • Built a cohesive visual system that could flex across multiple shows and layouts

  • Ensured graphics worked seamlessly with the custom-engineered booth structure

Every design decision was made to balance impact, clarity, and brand consistency in a fast-paced event environment.

Outcome

The final booth delivered a high-impact, visually confident presence at PPAI EXPO and beyond. The design successfully drew attendees in, clearly communicated Orbus’ offerings, and elevated the brand’s presence on the show floor.

The graphic system was built to be reusable across multiple events, providing long-term value beyond a single show.
